Welcome! I am creating this space as a repository of knowledge, inspiration and resources in celebration of the Earth. Hope you like it and will find it useful.. please get involved as it grows and develops.
I am generally a happy little soul, who lives quietly at home. I have a little black cat for company and I grow vegetables and herbs on my roof.
I knit obsessively, create things out of clay and like to photograph nature doing her thing. I find these activities therapeutic and a means to celebrate and interact with the Earth.
So much is happening in the herb garden at the moment - it is such a joy, because every time I go up onto the roof there is something new to see. So, today, here are photos of two old friends opening their flowers and turning their faces towards the sun...
thank you, sandpiper .. must admit it was a big surprise to me when it turned out pink! a newer flowerhead has since opened which is pure white, as expected, so I'm not sure what happened .. I wish I understood more about these things.
hi cheryl! do you take feverfew for your migraine? I took a feverfew tablet daily for a while and they helped prevent mine (became less often and less severe). sadly this herb is contra-indicated for me at the moment. I think the traditional way is eat a fresh leaf a day (best in bread and butter because it can cause mouth ulcers). you probably know all this!!

These flowers are beautiful. I love the pink yarrow!
I love feverfew and grow it in as many places as I can. The yarrow I have never seen in flower, isn't it pretty.
