January

Well here we are in January!

The cold snap has brought some wonderful bright sunny frosty mornings to enjoy in my part of London and beautiful peach and lilac sunsets illuminating stark dark tree silhouettes.

Time to hibernate in the warm and try to avoid all the coughs and colds lurking about - the elderflowers that I dried last autumn are standing by (but I hope I shan't be needing them!)

Really glad to see you posting again, Hedgewitch - I was hoping you were ok! If you haven't found an easy elderflower cordial recipe yet, take a look at the two articles I wrote on Elder last year on the Herb Society site in the Hedgerow to Kitchen series. I still have some cordial left in the fridge plus some I froze last June. Love the cards!
