Walk in the Woods

Hello again!
And many thanks for all the kind comments you've left for me over the last couple of weeks. I'm sorry that I haven't been able to join you all of late.

I had a wonderful trip out last week walking in woods not too far from where I live and wanted to share the experience with my Earth and Tree friends ..

It was so soothing to walk beneath the trees in the green, and breathe the soft air.

These photos were taken in woods at Trent Park, which were once part of the royal hunting estate of Enfield Chase, dating back to the fourteenth century. They show part of a rectangular moat which surrounded a medieval manor complex.

Beautiful, tranquil photographs, I can smell the woodland bed and feel the coolness under the trees.

So glad that you are back, I have been a little worried about you, and thought of you many times....

so glad all is well....

Green and cool is always soothing. I know what you mean by the soft air. That's what kept me lingering out in the park next door tonight after it had begun to get dark.

Wonderful pictures! I often spend my spare time walking in the woods. One of them is situated 5 minutes walk from my home. That's great to feel the scent of the wood and to listen to the birds' songs.

Most enchanting! My favorite walks are through the woods ... no lovelier place to come in touch with the soul.
