It looks beautiful hedgewitch. You are lucky to have these places not far from home.
I will take loads of photos to post when I visit, cheryl .. yes, I am very lucky.
I'm really glad you said that.. sometimes living in the city I get sad that I can't wander about in nature down lanes and in fields and so forth.. the buildings and traffic here seem so continuous and tiring, if you know what i mean?
But London has fantastic green places - the parks in central London are gorgeous - and I am so lucky to be able to hop on the tube and go to somewhere as exciting as the Chelsea Physic Garden.
.. and when the city starts getting me down, i just pop up onto the roof!
I'm so glad you found it! One of these days I may see it myself.
All this reminds me of a book I have called Garden of Eden (by Prest). It's a history of the earliest botanic gardens in Europe. It may mention Chelsea.
Thanks for this reminder, it's been on my wish list for a while and now I've booked it in for Sunday as my parents are visiting. We'll all love it I'm sure.
hi earthwoman .. glad to be of service!
I hope you all have a wonderful time .. I know you'll love it, and you should have a lovely day for it, too :-)
